Setting: It's the next day, and everyone is anxious to head to the mall for laser tag… but some of the group is more restless then others, and head to other houses for company before leaving for the mall…. Marik headed for Ryou's house first…

*meanwhile, on the other side of town, Seto has shown up at Setsuna's house, and is about to knock on the door. Setsuna is on her stomach on the couch in the living room, reading a book, unaware that the motorcycle sound that went by a while ago was actually one that stopped in her drive*
<Seto> *knocks on the door*
<Setsuna> *looks up from her book, puzzled* Who could that be? *doesn't bother looking out the window and gets up, opening the door* *startled* What are you doing here?!
<Seto> *pauses for a second, looking down at the floor* I... wanted to talk to you before we met at the mall.
<Setsuna> *blows up at her bangs* Fine... but don't try anything funny, My parents are out of town... *lets him in*
<Seto> *walks in, being very quiet*
<Setsuna> *closes the door, then flops back down on the couch, letting Seto look around as she resumes reading*
<Seto> *stares* I guess you're not interested in listening...
<Setsuna> *closes her book* I'll listen. I'm just waiting for you to say something
<Seto> *sighs heavily* *walks over to the couch* I'm... sorry if my comment last night made you angry. You left in such a hurry I didn't have any time to explain...
<Setsuna> *tries not to look him in the eyes as she sits up* I wasn't angry... it just startled me...
<Seto> *looks up, surprised* Then you weren't mad?!

<Seto> *looks at her face, seeing every bit of remorse in it, and loses himself in it, unable to bear it any longer* *leans down and catches her in a deep kiss, every emotion he feels for her, spreading through her body*
<Setsuna> *closes her eyes, for the first time accepting that love can be real, kissing back for the first time ever*
<Seto> *slowly breaks the kiss, looking into her teary eyes, now filled with tears of joy rather than sorrow* Will you be mine, Setsuna?
<Setsuna> *stares into his eyes for a few seconds, then answers* Yes...
<Seto> *is overcome with happiness, and picks her up in his arms, spinning her around, then setting her down and kissing her deeply again* Mmmmm... You've made me the happiest man alive today, Setsuna...

<Setsuna> *blushes* So should I be riding to the mall with you on a motorcycle? Everyone knows you've been making me take rides from you, but Ari knows me well enough that I would definitly refuse to ride on such close-quarters... *blushes more*
<Seto> *coughs* Well, I could pull up a little ways away from the mall, and you could walk the few blocks left, saying you caught a bus there...
<Setsuna> Uhm... ok *blushes even more, if possible* *puts on the helmet that was handed to her*
<Seto> *gets on the bike and revs it up, getting a bit red in the face when Setsuna slides up behind him, slipping her arms around his waist*
*when they arrive, they do as Seto suggested, Setsuna getting off before they actually get within view of the others, who all got there earlier. They all meet at the entrance outside the laser tag arena*
<Setsuna> *arrives last, walking up to the entrance where Seto is staring at Ryou dumbfounded* What's going on?
<Ari> *sigh* Ryou's crazy...
<Seto> I guess Ryou tried to kill Namu or something... *is totally bewildered*
<Namu> *is smoldering beside Ari, who are standing opposite Ryou* *glares like a devil at Ryou, his anger obviously unhidden* What happened, was while I was visiting Ari, offering her a ride to the mall, Ryou decided to follow me and came bursting in through the door, punching me in the face without a single word! Apparently *glares even harder* he seems to think I'm some kind of possession.
<Setsuna> *can't help but laugh a bit* I know your yuki is a fruit basket... but you're obviously into Ari, so why would he care? *looks at Ryou* Upset that you can't have the whole package or something? *laughs*

*everyone goes in, getting into teams: Ari, Setsuna, and Mai, vs. Ryou, Namu, Seto, and Jou. The boy's vs. girls insisted upon by Setsuna and Jou...*
<Person running the game> Okay, here's the rules: Each team has a base on opposite ends of the arena. While in your own base, you can't be hit. You can stay in there as long as you want at the very beginning, but as soon as you leave the first time, you only get the safety for a minute. Each person can survive 3 shots. There are sensors on your back and front. Once you're hit three times, return to your base and exit the arena. First team to defeat all players on the other team wins. There is a ten second delay on shooting your weapons, and a thirty-second delay on being shot. There's no time limit on the game itself. Now, red team (girls) enters in the red door. It takes you to your base. Green team (guys), same deal. Have fun!

Mai goes up the right, which is the guy's left, where Jou is, Setsuna goes up the left, which is Seto's area, and Ari is headed for Namu and Ryou, who ended up together anyway*

<Ryou> *bites Setsuna's neck, letting her drop to the floor*

<Setsuna> *is in too much pain to care, trying to stop her bleeding, her chain glowing with an odd power*
<Ryou> *glares at her* I'll go get the other girl... meet me when you've finished her off.
<Seto> *barrels into Marik before he can shoot Setsuna again* SCOUNDREL!
<Ryou> *turns and gasps, but decides he has to get to Ari before something happens to stop him* *runs off*
<Setsuna> *watches the two boys fight, her eyes teary* *flinches as her skin starts to feel odd* The chain gets odder every day...
<Seto> *throws Marik into the wall, knocking him out* *rushes to Setsuna's side* Are you alright?! *holds her close, feeling her bloody wound*
<Setsuna> Yea... the chain... I think... This may sound odd, but I think it's healing me...
<Seto> *is taken aback* What? It can do that?!
<Setsuna> I-I guess its one of its powers...
<Marik> *groans, waking up*
<Seto> Here, give me your laser... *takes it from her and shoots Marik*

<Seto> *hits him again when his siren stops* You're dead. Go away. *gives the laser back to Setsuna*
<Marik> Grrrrr... *rushes off, but not to the safe place* *is seeking out Ari and Ryou*
<Setsuna> *smiles at Seto* I suppose you'll kill me off?
<Seto> Nah, I'll let you live… for now. But only if you give me a kiss.
<Setsuna> *laughs* So the price of my life is a kiss? Fine with me! *pulls him down into a deep kiss*
<Seto> Mmmm.... *realizes something* Ari! They're going to get her next!
<Setsuna> *remembers* Oh no! *gets up* How will we find them?
<Seto> *hears Ari's scream* Easily I'll wager... *runs off in the direction of Ari's voice*
<Ari> *screamed because she was thrown against a wall by Ryou, who is occupying himself until Marik finds him*
<Ryou> Heh heh heh... you've been quite a problem, little girl. I'm getting tired of your incessant meddling in my affairs!
<Ari> *barely able to speak* I didn't... do anything to you...
<Ryou> *presses his wrist into her throat harder* No?! You keep on turning Namu on Marik and me!
<Ari> *gasps for air* Its... not... my fault!
<Ryou> *glares* Your fault or not, you're still another knot in my hair!
<Ari> *tears are welling up in her eyes from the pain in the back of her head* It's his choice! You can't make him choose what to do with his life… it's his!

<Ari> *groans as she tries to keep conscious* I don't care anymore! If you behave this way, you don't deserve him!

<Marik> *putting his hand on Ryou's shoulder* Calm down. Let's just get rid of her…
<Ryou> *starts for a second* Oh, you found us. *turns back to Ari* Yes, I think it's time we got rid of her for good.
<Ari> *turns over, looking fearfully at the two boys standing above her*
<Ryou> *takes off his ring and bends to pick up Ari, but a gold chain whips out of nowhere, knocking the Ring out of his hands* *looks into the shadows* *growls*
<Liana> *walks out of the shadows* Back off, NOW.
<Marik and Ryou> *glare*
<Ryou> Think again!! *jumps for the Ring, rolling on the ground and then sitting back up, ready to pounce on Ari*
<Liana> *throws the chain at Ryou, wrapping it tightly around his neck and pulling so he can't get up* Drop it, Ryou!
<Ryou> *chokes* *pulls at the Chain* M-Marik!!
<Marik> *eyes burn* Let him go! *pulls out the Shadow Rod and leaps at the Chain in Liana's hand*
<Liana> *jumps out of the way, kicking Marik in the stomach as he passes her* *turns back to Ari, who's watching in utter terror* Ari! Get your yukikureru out here, or get out of the way!!
<Ari> *scurries to a corner far away from Ryou*
<Seth> *passes by her* Are you ok?
<Ari> *manages to nod*
<Seth> *runs into the thick of the fight, grabbing Marik and keeping him away from Liana*
<Marik> *growls, knocking his head back into Seth's face*
<Seth> *grunts, almost letting Marik go* *whips his head back, baring his teeth at Marik* *notices he is holding a shadowy Rod* Whaaaa…
<Liana> *is standing with the Chain still choking the air from Ryou's throat* My, my… now you really are just another wild beast on a leash!!
<Ryou> I'll show you wild beast! *jumps up, ripping the Chain from his neck, slamming head on into Liana*
<Ari> *screams as they barrel into her hiding place*
<Ryou> *sees an opportunity and grabs Ari by the hair and throws her out into the hall, kneeling over her with the Ring at her neck*
<Ari> *looks up at Ryou with utter fear*
<Liana> *sees her friend's predicament, but is too weak to move* No… Ari…
<Ryou> *grins, his white teeth flashing, placing the spikes of the Ring at Ari's neck*
<Ari> *closes her eyes in fear, and a few seconds later opens them, only to be Kibira, her Seidan materializing in her hand*
<Ryou> *hesitates for a minute, his face turning to a small look of confusion and almost recognition*
<Kibira> *doesn't hesitate to bring the Seidan up, knocking his hand away, sending the Ring flying into the opposite wall… again*
<Seth> *rams Marik's head into a wall, rendering him unconscious* *looks around for Liana, then sees her half-conscious on the floor* *runs over to her side, picking her up* You okay?
<Liana> Ouch…
<Seth> *looks at Ryou and Kibira, surprised to see Kibira out and fighting… since she rarely seems to be out* Well, Ryou seems busy… I can get you out of here if you want…
<Liana> No… I can't leave her in here alone… and what if Marik wakes up?
<Seth> *grins* He won't wake up for a loooong time!!
<Ryou> *grabs the Ring and leaps off the wall into Kibira, knocking her into the opposite wall* *goes to drive the Ring into her throat, but is suddenly blown back into the wall by a force*
<Kibira> *stands over his crumpled form, her eyes blazing* Do not dare to touch me again, dirty raider! *points the Seidan at him* *suddenly blinks, and backs off, holding her head in her hands* What… how did I?
<Ryou> *looks up at her with even more confusion on his face then when he first saw her* How did you know I was a raider?
<Kibira> *turns abruptly to look at him* That is none of your concern! You must be punished for trying to hurt my hikari!
<Liana> *is suddenly up and stands between the two fighters* No! Stop it! Stop fighting!
<Kibira> *glares* Liana, stand aside! He must be taught a lesson he shall not soon forget!!
<Liana> Fighting isn't going to solve it! Just let him sulk in his misery.
<Kibira> *glowers down at Ryou* Yes… I suppose it's a better punishment… his own mind can devise hard enough lessons for him to learn. *slowly turns back into Ari*
<Ari> *drops to her knees, the Seidan gone*
<Marik> *groans and wakes up, reverting back to Namu for lack of power*
<Namu> *sees Ari go down, and gets up, catching her as she falls* Ari!
<Ari> *grins at him through her face of pain* I'm fine…
<Ryou> *gets up slowly, putting his Ring away* *hangs his head, walking away*
<Seth> Ryou!
<Ryou> *turns, glaring through blazing eyes* Leave me be! I'm not wanted here!
<Liana> *watches as he leaves, actually feeling sorry for him for once*
<Ryou> *bursts through the door to the waiting room, where Mai and Jou are and rips his gear off, tossing it at Jou and walking out*
<Jou> Woh… What waz dat about?
<Mai> *shrugs*
<Ari> *leans on Namu, who's supporting her*
<Seto> *has come back, Seth leaving him* Well, do we want to finish the game?
<Setsuna> *is leaning on Seto* Sure. *shoots him*
<Seto> What?! *takes out his gun and shoots her before she can move away* Ha!
<Ari> HA!!! *shoots Seto when his siren runs out* Girls win!!
<Setsuna> *suddenly remembers that she's supposed to still act like she hates Seto and runs ahead to catch up to Ari, instead of leaning on Seto*
<Ari> *notices this, but decides not to say anything just yet*
<Namu> *is clueless as usual*
*when they all get back to the waiting room, they get the score sheets and the official word that the girls won. They all linger around the exit of the mall, Ari and Namu leaving together and Mai and Jou leaving*
<Seto> *smiles when everyone else is gone* Well, shall I take you home? *laughs*
<Setsuna> *sigh* I almost forgot we were keeping this a secret in there… This is gonna be harder then I thought…
<Seto> Yeah… we might have to tell them sooner than we expected.
<Setsuna> *falls into his arms, hugging him*
<Seto> *is taken aback for a second, but puts his arms around her* C'mon… I'll take you home! *suddenly sweeps her off her feet and carries her to his bike*

<Seto> *sets her down next to the bike and tosses her a helmet*
<Setsuna> *waits for Seto to get on and then slides on behind him*
<Seto> *can't help but blush a little as he ignites the engine… again*
*After a while, they arrive at Setsuna's house*
<Seto> *steps off the bike, setting his helmet down, and helping Setsuna takes hers off* Shall I walk you to the door?
<Setsuna> Oh, you can do more than that! ^_^ You can walk me inside!
<Seto> *laughs slightly as they walk inside*
<Setsuna> *sets her stuff down on the couch, flopping back into the pillows*
<Seto> *comes up behind her, wrapping his arms around her, blowing in her ear*
<Setsuna> *giggles* Stooooppp that tickles!
<Seto> *kisses her ear* Why should I…? *laughs evilly*
<Setsuna> Because… *giggles when he blows again* Oooo stop it!!
<Seto> *chuckles sinisterly* *draws his tongue up the edge of her ear, whispering into her ear* Stop it… why… you know you're enjoying it…
<Setsuna> But it tickles! How would you like it if I tickled you! *turns on him and pokes his sides repeatedly*
<Seto> Wagh! *falls over immediately, falling flat on his back beside the couch* Oof!
<Setsuna> *leans over the edge* *raises an eyebrow* Ticklish are we?
<Seto> Yea, but so are you… *grabs her arm and pulls her over the edge, tickling her when she falls on top of him*
<Setsuna> Aaaaagh!! *squirms and squeals as he tickles her*
<Seto> *laughs as she wriggles in his lap* You're never getting away from me!!
<Setsuna> *between gasps* Oh… yea?? *kisses him, ceasing his tickling instantly*
<Seto> Mmmm… *lets himself fall backwards* That works for me!!

<Seto> *raises an eyebrow* Uh-huh… and just what do you mean by that?
<Setsuna> *buries her face in his shirt* Never mind…

<Seto> *snorts* *gets up* *picks her up from the floor and drops her onto the couch* You are such a silly girl…

<Seto> *pulls her into his lap, in between his legs* *sigh* I wish it wasn't going to be so hard trying to keep us a secret…
<Setsuna> What if we had a sleepover next week? Everyone would be there… we could tell them then.
<Seto> *sweatdrop* I'd prefer it if I just invited the guys over… you know? Maybe we could plan to have two sleepovers that night… a guys and a girls one. We could tell everyone at our own sleepover.

<Namu> *smiles as he's leaving Ari's house after taking her home* *talking to himself* I think I may have actually found someone… maybe Ari likes me! *smiles and drives off*
<Ryou> *comes from around the corner of the house in the shadows* There's something about this girl… *walks up to the door and knocks, leaning against the side of the doorframe as he waits*
<Ari> *opens the door briskly, thinking Namu forgot something* Wagh! What are you doing here!? *glares* Didn't you get enough beatings from Kibira earlier?!
<Ryou> *glowers at her* I'm here to talk to her. I have questions…
<Ari> And I have answers… NO!! *tries to slam the door in his face*
<Ryou> *catches the door, staring at her coolly* I need to talk to her, and I'm not waiting. *shoves inside, making Ari run upstairs away from him*
<Ari> *runs into her room and locks the door*
<Ryou> *bounds up the stairs, taking three steps at a time* *sees the door and hears the lock click* Heh… you can't keep me out! For long… *finds a window at the end of the hall* *opens it climbing out, climbing onto the roof and sneaking up to her bedroom window* *opens it from outside, since it's open a bit at the top, and climbs inside*
<Ari> *immediately knocks Ryou's head with a thick book as soon as he's in inside of the window*
<Ryou> Agh! *grabs the book before she can whack him again* Stop it! I just need to talk to Kibira; I'm not here to kill you! But if you continue to attack me I'll have no choice!
<Ari> *glares* A likely story… what is so important that you'd climb in my window to talk about it?
<Ryou> Let your yukikureru out. It doesn't concern you.
<Ari> *is going to be defiant to the end* No! She's not interes-…. *eyes go glassy as Kibira takes over on her own*
<Kibira> *looks at Ryou with disgust* What do you want?
<Ryou> It's been eating away at me since you said it… How the hell did you know I was a raider?
<Kibira> Hmph! *turns her back on him* Why does it matter to you?! Most of the yukikureru were connected in our past life… I may have heard of you somewhere… besides, why would I speak to someone who tried to end my life earlier today? *turns, glaring at him with her crimson eyes*
<Ryou> *glares back, his eyes also glowing a reddish* I don't buy that. You're remembering something and you're not telling me.
<Kibira> *turns, getting tired of this endless bantering* I don't know how I knew… it just came into my mind before I knew what was happening. Nothing really…
<Ryou> *comes up behind her and grabs her shoulders, turning her back around and looking straight into her eyes* It's not nothing! *zones out for a moment, getting a weird feeling looking into her eyes* *gets lost in an ancient memory, and leans in to kiss Kibira*
<Kibira> *hasn't lost her senses yet and smacks him, pushing him away* Have you lost your mind?? Get out! I've talked to you long enough!
<Ryou> *snaps out of it, and stares at her, then leaves quickly, stunned*
<Kibira> *sits on the edge of the bed, silent* *thinks: What was that about?*
