<Setsuna> *raises an eyebrow* Do you realize that the three of us could be laughed at so much if we acted all girly for a day?

<Ari> What on earth are you talking about?
<Setsuna> Hello, we're a blonde, brunette, and a redhead. How many jokes are there of that??

<Setsuna> *holding back a laugh* We need to decide what we're gonna do today…
<Mai> I still think we should go get our nails done.
<Ari> Yeah it's not like any of the guys would see us to make a joke about it.
<Setsuna> *snort* Yeah… and even if they did, I don't think any of them would be witty enough to realize the joke in it.

<Setsuna> Where's this salon?

<Mai> *nods* We take a right at the center of the mall.
*The three girls head for the salon, meanwhile*
<Seto> *is at home working on the computer, waiting for Yugi, Marik, and Bakura to come over*

<Seto> *clicks something on the computer, and music starts to pour from the speakers* This.

<Seto> *hearing the doorbell* You'll see. *gets up to answer the door, admitting the three other boys in* The room's in the basement. *leads the way*
<Marik> The girls are going to think we're nuts.
<Yugi> Or they'll just go nuts for us!
<Bakura> I thought that demo we did was pretty good.
<Mokuba> *following them into the room* I haven't been in here for a while… I forgot we had music instruments. So what are you guys up to?
<Seto> You know that music clip I played for you?
<Mokuba> *nods*
<Yugi> *strapping on a guitar* That was us, Mokuba.
<Mokuba> *blinks* "Us" you mean you four?
<Bakura> *mounting the drum set's stool* That's correct. *twirls a drumstick in his hand*
<Seto> *straps on a bass guitar, plucking out a few notes to be sure its in tune*

<Marik> *picking up another guitar* He finally figures it out. *laughs*

<Ari> *sigh* Things are gonna be so complicated now… I have to not only worry about what Marik thinks, but I have to be sure I don't do anything to tick off Kibira and Ryou…

<Atem> *sigh* How do you two expect to have a band if you're going to fight all the time.
<Taireru> *grabbing his bag* Hey, I'm the odd one out either way. Find another yukikureru to sing with if you're all going to keep doing this to me. You're all forgetting that I had Kibira first!
<Ryou> *glares* Who cares who had her first. She chose me. Just because you and she were lovey-dovey before I came along doesn't mean she can't change her mind.
<Taireru> *opens his mouth to say something, but closes it. Leaving the room with a slammed door*
<Atem> *looks down* I don't have a third form to make any judgment… but I think Taireru is a little too angry for comfort.
<Ryou> *glares at the door* Believe me, we may call them "kage" but not all of them are so dark as that.
<Seth> Most of them aren't that bad… the only things Sesu remembers from that time is that they had to fight Taireru… and that it wasn't easy. I think it was for much the same reason as Marik and Ryou… all over a girl.
<Ryou> All over Nadirei.
<Mokuba> Yeah, my head's spinning… I'm going upstairs. *leaves*
<Atem> *continuing the conversation* So do we have any idea how many kages there are?
<Seth> *thinking* There's Nadirei, Taireru, Reira, Sesu… and yours is… Kaminari, right Ryou?
<Ryou> *nods* So that's five so far… Kaminari's memory is so fuzzy, but I don't think that was all of them.
<Seth> It could be a while before we have the full story.
<Atem> Can I ask you guys something totally unrelated to the kage subject?
<Seth> Sure, what? *puts his bass in its case*
<Atem> I've been having odd dreams and feelings lately. Almost like another spirit inside me… but it's not a kage. Have any of you felt anything like that? Nawra said she'd been seeing some strange things in her dreams as well.
<Seth> *thinks* I've only been trying to remember what happened in the past… Though I have gotten a few weird memories… a strange old man with bright red hair… and he was in the palace at one point.
<Atem> I've seen someone in the palace wearing a crown of the older Egyptian kings… he looked like his skin was green though.
<Ryou> *staring at his feet* They're gods.
<Seth> *looking at him* What?
<Ryou> The gods. Seth was associating with Set, the god of chaos. Atem, you've seen Osiris, god of the dead and vegetation…
<Atem> How do you know that?
<Ryou> Because I was associated with Anubis… another god of the dead. I just recently remembered this… but we were all associated with gods in ancient Egypt. It was one of the reasons why all of us were sort of… drawn to each other. I mean, do you think it was just coincidence that all the Millennium Item holders knew each other at one point in time, before we were all sealed away?
<Seth> But we didn't all know each other… I only knew of you.
<Ryou> Oh but you did… I don't remember exactly all of it yet… but I know I'd been at the palace a few times, looting this and that… Kibira and Liana were best friends… though I still don't have it quite clear as to how I met Kibira… Liana and Seth were both priests…
<Atem> So what do the gods mean? Is it bad? I mean… I've only just seen Osiris in my head… He hasn't done anything.
<Ryou> I don't know what it means… but I do know that if Anubis gets a hold on my mind… it won't end up too well. He's a god of mischief and pain…
<Seth> Set is a god of chaos… it wouldn't surprise me if he would want to turn the world into just that if he got control.
<Atem> We'll have to be careful. We may not be able to fight it if these gods take control.
*meanwhile*
<Setsuna> *has gotten home, getting dropped off with Ari at her house* Today was fun.
<Ari> *flopping on Setsuna's bed* Yeah… I wonder what the guys were up to though…
<Setsuna> Eh, they're probably all just plotting ways to scare us or something.
<Ari> Setsuna, when are you going to tell them about your brother?
<Setsuna> *sighs* Hopefully never.
<Ari> You get freaked out if you have to go into his room… you need to tell everyone. I mean… what happens if he comes back? They all need to know.
<Setsuna> I don't even want to think about him coming back… Kazuhiko was so power-bent… if he were to come back… it would mean he finally found a way to kill us all.
<Ari> *shudders* All the more reason to tell everyone. If he comes back when you're alone… Setsuna it could end up with your death… and I'm sure I'd be next on the list. If they don't know, they can't help.
<Setsuna> Look… I'll tell everyone when I'm ready… I don't like remembering it all… I'm more focused on figuring out the yuki and kage pasts… not my own.
<Ari> … speaking of that… Do you remember anything about being a "chosen" child?
<Setsuna> Liana's mentioned it. Why?
<Ari> Kibira thinks that we were all associated with different gods. She and Ryou were talking about Anubis and Bast the other night. Do you remember any gods being important?
<Setsuna> Not really… I mean, Liana was a priest of Isis… that's about all I remember.
<Ari> *Sighs* Well I should go… just… please consider telling everyone. The longer you go without talking about Kazu, the more it will hurt to tell them.
<Setsuna> *flinches at the name* Don't shorten it… he always hated it… with my luck, he'll hear it and come back just to punish us for saying it like that…
<Ari> *hugs her and leaves, getting home as fast as she can to finish her homework for the night*
<Setsuna> *sitting on her bed, deep in thought* I don't even know if I can keep him a secret for much longer… but I'm afraid that he'll come back… and I'll never have a chance… *flops down, hugging her BEWD plushie tightly*
